At FAIN, we have obtained the « Cradle to Cradle » (C2C) Certification for our ION lift, a stamp awarded by the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute to products that focus on a circular economy and sustainability in the manufacture, use and reuse of their materials.
Our ION has revolutionised the lift sector, due to optimising the materials employed, minimising the use of water, chemicals and any other contaminating substances, and the recyclability of all its components.
In addition, the miniaturisation of all the machinery’s elements leaves more room for passengers, achieving a cabin 35% larger. This is yet another advantage in times of COVID-19, as its dimensions facilitate social distancing.

In addition to the traditional model, FAIN Ascensores has developed two other versions, Green and Solar, with the aim of meeting the needs of the most environmentally conscious and demanding customers and offering zero-emissions equipment.
Cradle to Cradle® is a concept developed by the architect William McDonough and chemist Michael Braungart, and assessed by the German Scientific Institute EPEA (Environmental Protection Encouragement Agency). C2C stands for innovation, quality and good design. In addition, it incorporates the safe and potentially infinite cyclical use of materials. It is about building things with future generations in mind.
